CHRISTIAN MOORE

Christian is a solicitor and Legal Practitioner director of Aejis Legal. Christian has been engaged in legal practice for over 20 years. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society and is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.

Christian Moore is our Director and Principal Solicitor. He founded Aejis Legal on the belief that his work be tailored to each client and their personal needs, no matter how big the firm or small the claim. Christian is dedicated to supporting you in your legal matters by exceeding expectations, being available around the clock and building upon his knowledge to deliver you real, measurable outcomes.

SCOTT ARGLES

Qualification : LLB (Hons)

Scott has been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland for over 20 years. Prior to joining the firm, Scott was a Senior Associate at a large national law firm and international law firm and, in more recent times, was the Director of Legal Services for the Public Trustee of Queensland.

 Scott has experience in a broad range of areas, with a particular focus on property, wills and estates, litigation and elder law. Scott has a reputation for being thorough and giving strategic and pragmatic advice having regard to the commercial situation.

JIM CHEN

Solicitor

Qualification : LLB (Hons), GRAD Dip LP

Jim has been working with Aejis since 2014 and was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017. He graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and has been working in immigration law since 2013.

Jim is from Taiwan and fluent in Mandarin.  He has extensive experience in employer sponsorship, family and parent visas, and appealing visa cancellations. He has also done work focusing on student, visitor and skilled visas, and has proven he can easily overcome barriers such as mitigation of character issues and health waivers.

Jim also has significant experience in criminal law, commercial litigation, property and family matters.

KARRY CHAN

Solicitor

Qualification : LLB, BCom, Grad dip lp

Karry graduated from University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce. She subsequently completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Queensland University of Technology.

Karry was admitted as a lawyer in the the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2016. She is also a member of the Queensland Law Society.

Karry joined the Aejis Legal team in 2017. She has a strong focus on dealing with Chinese clients as a native speaker of Mandarin, Cantonese and English. She understands both legal and cultural nuances of both jurisdictions. Karry’s skill set enables her to facilitate a seamless interface for client’s doing business in Australia and China.

Karry has primarily focus on assisting clients in family, commercial and property matters. Karry also  has expertise in migration law with emphasis on investment migration, employment, spousal and family migration pathways.

MARION YEUNG

Solicitor

Qualification : LLB (Hons), BBehavSc (Psych), Grad Dip LP

Marion graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and
Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology). She subsequently completed her Graduate Diploma of
Legal Practice at The College of Law.

Marion was admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2018. She is also a member
of the Queensland Law Society.

Shortly after being admitted, Marion became a member of the Aejis Legal team and has practiced in
the areas of litigation, property, family and estate law.

Marion believes in being client-focused and creating long-term relationships.
